Prostate cancer accounts for over one-third of all cancer deaths combined among Jamaicans. It is the most common cancer affecting our men and the most common cause of male-cancer related deaths.

In the 59th Annual Conference speakers will be covering a wide range of topcis including management of colon cancer, breast cancer, minimal invasive surgery, vascular trauma and breast pathology to name a few.

The ASJ published a Magazine called Surgeons which chronicled the development of this young vibrant associations journey over the first twenty five years of its commencement. Presidents and other key player reflected on the goals achieved and the path travelled.
